My name is Diana Zimmerman and it’s true; I talk to myself a lot. I talk to myself out loud, in the diary I’ve kept since I was a child, or through writing stories and poems. Hablo sola para recordar quien soy, que es lo que estaba haciendo.
I was born and raised among the Mennonites of Pennsylvania, lived the first 15 years of my adult life in Costa Rica, spent some cold years in Washington State, and am back home in Costa Rica. My wild and beautiful Italian husband left this life suddenly in the fall of 2017, 4 months after we discovered he had cancer.
I mix languages, past and present, truth and fiction.
Bienvenidos al mundo mio. Welcome to my world.

I love reading all you write. Especially in the middle of the night. : )
I hope it led you off to the land of sweet dreams…
